Football Prediction Everton vs Rotherham

Today’s Football Prediction Everton vs Rotherham

Under the command of Portuguese Marco Silva, Everton aspire to make an interesting championship the image of what he did last year, but running on the outside in the fight for European competitions.

After some bad results in the pre-season, which even generated some apprehension among the adept mass, Everton gave a good answer in the first three days of the Premier League, scoring 5 points from draws with Wolves (2-2) and Bournemouth (2-2) and home win against Southampton (2-1).

The first and third match are especially interesting because Marco Silva’s team was in numerical inferiority for about an hour against Wolves and for 20 minutes in Bournemouth, showing an excellent responsiveness even subject to this handicap.
For the game today, the big loss will be that of the Brazilian Richarlison, hired by 45 million Watford and who has been giving an excellent response on the field in this initial stretch with three goals scored in as many games.

After several seasons in the Championship, the Rotherham went down in 2016/17 to the League One, obtaining the return to the second step this season.

For now, they occupy the 15th place of the table, with 2 wins and 3 losses in 5 days.

They lost 5-1 at Brentford to a 1-1 home defeat by Ipswich Town and the League Cup first round tie when they defeated Wigan 3-1.

In the return to the Championship, they lost again, in the ground of the current leader Leeds (0-2) and later in the reception to Hull City (2-3). Last Sunday, they received and beat Milwall, 1-0.

Everton vs Rotherham Football Prediction

I expect a game with clear control of the home team, Everton, because despite having an interesting record in the first games of the Premier League the truth is that only add a victory and be eliminated or have to go to penalties to move forward in the reception to a newly promoted team to the Championship would be a great surprise.

Marco Silva should make a team mixed between some of the holders and others less used in these first meetings, however the quality is much higher than the Rotherham, who felt many difficulties in the games that held out this season before sets inferior to this Everton.

The toffee problem has been defensive consistency, scoring goals has not been a problem and even if they suffer I believe they will be able to score more and in considerable volume to win calmly and provide a good spectacle to their fans.
